tis the season… for a family photo

Taking a family photo with a two year old is not exactly the easiest thing to do.  Especially when the two year old only cares about the leaves on the ground and the chihuahua we decided to include in the family pic this year.  Today was just one of those days when the little lady decided she wasn’t really into it and was gonna make us work for it.  I think we got a couple that are Christmas card worthy, and lots of bloopers.  Thank goodness for Guncle (who took all of the family shots) for putting up with my very specific directions, letting me mess with the camera settings every few minutes and directing the chihuahua and the little.  Why he puts up with us I’m not really sure.  Oh yeah, for the food.  As long as I keep sweets on my counter we can count on him.

Just when you think the whole outing was probably a bust and we’ll have to go back out again and do it all over, you see one like this.  And then it’s all worth it.  The moral of the story is stick with it people.  Take 500 photos and you’re sure to get a few keepers :)

It’s safe to say I’m obsessed.

    1. We’ve had such a great(HOT!) summer- what a perfect time to move here! I got her boots last fall from Gap. I feel like they have a different version of these boots every year so maybe they will have some similar ones out soon :) Thanks for reading!
