This weekend we drove to Black Butte to have our first (of hopefully many) “Friendsgivings”. It was so nice to spend the weekend with friends that feel more like a part of our extended family than just friends. As usual, Pres and her bff Avery had lots of fun hanging out together. In fact, Presley just now told me she’s “missin’ Avery a lot right now” :) They are too stinking cute together. It’s nice that they have chosen to be friends so we didn’t have to force them… cause we would have forced them!
Anywho- the big dinner went off without a hitch and the food was delcious… all of it.
Guncle and I searched outside around the house for some pretty branches and pine cones and he put it all together for a festive tablescape :) I wish one of us would have thought to take a picture of the whole food spread… but we were hungry and just dug in.
Next year there just might be a couple extra kids in the photo (no, I’m NOT talking about me!).
On our way out of town we took the girls to a Reindeer farm in Redmond. There were even baby reindeer. SO cute!
The baaaaaaaabies! They were so cute with their fuzzy little antlers!
I’m getting really antsy to start decorating for Christmas… I think it must be because Thanksgiving and Christmas are so close together this year. I just know that Presley is going to love, love, love Christmas and all the fun that goes along with it. Time for me to step my festive game up! I’m thinking a cookie decorating party, diy advent calendar, trip(s) to see Santa and lots more fun.
